EditHub Terms of Service

Welcome to EditHub, a digital marketplace for buying and selling editing assets such as audio/visual effects, scenepacks, and project files. By accessing or using EditHub, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
1. General Information
1.1 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved under UK law.
1.2 Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 years old to use EditHub in compliance with PayPal's Terms of Service.
1.3 Global Application: These Terms apply to all users worldwide.
2. Buyer and Seller Responsibilities
2.1 Listing Requirements:
- Sellers must provide accurate descriptions of their products.
- Listings must include images or videos showcasing the legitimacy of the product.
- Misleading or fraudulent content is strictly prohibited.
2.2 Buyer-Seller Disputes:
- Sellers are the first point of contact for disputes.
- Sellers must provide a communication method (e.g., email, Discord, or supported social media).
- EditHub will intervene only if the seller fails to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
2.3 Prohibited Products:
- Products that are illegal or infringe on intellectual property rights are prohibited.
- Violations may result in product removal and account suspension or banning at EditHub's discretion.
3. Intellectual Property and Licensing
3.1 Personal Use Only: Products purchased on EditHub are for personal use only. Redistribution or resale of purchased assets is prohibited.
3.2 IP Infringement: EditHub will remove content violating intellectual property laws. Repeat violations may result in selling or platform bans. IP violations will be detected through automated and manual reviews.
3.3 Reporting Counterfeit or Intellectual Property Violations:
If you suspect a product infringes on your intellectual property rights or is counterfeit, you can report it by:
- Contacting EditHub Support via email at [email protected].
- Joining the official EditHub Discord server and creating a support ticket in the designated support channel. Join our Discord.
When submitting a report, please include the following details:
- Your contact information (name, email, and phone number).
- A description of the allegedly infringing or counterfeit product (e.g., product name, URL).
- Evidence of ownership (e.g., copyright or trademark registration, proof of original creation).
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the intellectual property in question.
EditHub will review the submitted report, investigate the claim, and take appropriate action, which may include removing the product from the platform and suspending or banning the seller’s account.
Sellers whose content has been removed may appeal the decision by providing evidence of ownership or authorization to sell the product. Appeals must be submitted via email to [email protected] or by creating a new ticket on Discord within 7 business days of the initial notification.
4. Financial Terms
4.1 Platform Fees: EditHub takes a fee on every transaction, which is included in the seller's listed price.
4.2 Refunds: Refund requests must be directed to the seller. EditHub will assist if necessary.
4.3 Taxes: Sellers are responsible for reporting and paying their own taxes.
5. Platform Rules
5.1 Account Suspension: EditHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, platform rule breaches, or at its discretion.
5.2 Data Usage: EditHub collects only essential data: usernames, email addresses, and PayPal onboarding details. Data is used solely for operating the platform and is not shared with third parties.
5.3 Dispute Resolution: If a dispute cannot be resolved by the seller in a reasonable time, EditHub may intervene. Consequences, such as refunds or account actions, may be imposed on either party based on the outcome.
6. Liability and Indemnity
6.1 Limited Liability: EditHub attempts to ensure listed products are legitimate but cannot guarantee the quality or legality of every product. Issues should be reported through support channels.
6.2 Indemnity: Users agree to indemnify and hold EditHub harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the platform, including but not limited to claims related to intellectual property infringement, unlawful content, or misuse of services.
7. Miscellaneous
7.1 Amendments: EditHub may update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes.
